News Flash!!! Copy cats on the move!!
On July 1, another dentist in Fairview, Quezon City was robbed by a man who pretended as a patient. The suspect, who was wearing a bull cap, entered the clinic, filled up the information sheet and announced the holdup. After tying up the dentist and two other companions, the suspect forcibly took cash worth PhP 17,000 (US$ 394), two laptops and a video camera. The victims said that the bull cap he was wearing was used to cover his face from being recognized by the CCTV camera installed inside the dental clinic. It was not reported if the victims were raped or molested.
Kurukuro believes that there will be more copy cats of the famous serial dentist rapist/molester that will victimize dentists in the next few months if not arrested. This was based on Kurukuro’s crime trend analysis after a man named Richard Gamboa was arrested in Binan, Laguna Province. Copycats could be known to the main man or a high possibility that an organized group ride with the famed modus operandi.
