Celebrating Halloween



Halloween is getting to be one of the most popular festivals in Metro Manila. Picking up the spookiest costume is one of the most exciting parts in this celebration. Shopping malls, gated communities and restaurants organize trick or treat for kids.  Here are some safety tips to all parents whose kids will participate in the much anticipated event.

Trick or Treating Tips 

• Avoid costumes that are too loose and drag on the ground. Wear comfortable shoes. Parents should pick costumes that are bathroom friendly too.
• Trick or treat in familiar neighborhoods. Adults should plan the route ahead of time.
• Always go in groups and must be accompanied by an adult
• Stay on the sidewalks and no running. Walk!
• Don't go to dark houses and never enter any houses unless you know the people.
• Never accept rides from strangers.
• Avoid candies with loose wrappings, have puncture holes, or that are homemade. Never allow your kids to eat goodies until it's inspected under bright lights.
